Hello I’m Imogen and, in short, I am deeply passionate about family life.
I truly believe that you already have all you need within you in order to be the parent that you want to be. My role is simply to help reveal that by empowering and encouraging you during what is the beautiful and hugely vulnerable experience of having a baby.
I long to see new parents feeling supported at the start of their parenting journey; that they might have confidence from ‘day one’ so that they feel equipped to make choices that feel right for them and their families. By building firm foundations from the very beginning, new parents are less likely to feel that they’ve stumbled through the first few months in an overwhelmed haze only to find that they’re utterly exhausted and at the end of themselves later down the line. And this is most likely to happen by having the right support around you - someone that feels safe and completely non-judgemental amidst all of the unknown.
Having the right support through the ups and downs - the changes and challenges - that come with having a new baby can be genuinely life changing.
I speak from personal experience because my own mother changed, and continues to change, my life. Her support of me and my family is ultimately what has fuelled the desire in me for all families to have the sort of support that she has shown us. Having somebody with you in those early weeks, showing you unending patience, gentleness, empathy and compassion enables you to thrive rather than simply ‘survive’.
I would be delighted to speak with you about how I can best support you and your family.
All of my support is entirely bespoke given that every family's needs are different.
But the aim underpinning my work is always the same: to help new parents feel supported, empowered and, in turn, confident to parent in a way that feels right for them and their baby. I help you to establish rhythms that feel right for you. And, naturally, a part of that is often helping to maximise sleep for everybody in the home. Sleep truly does change everything! And it will come most naturally when everybody is relaxed and confident.
This is how it works:
1. We will have an initial 20-minute introductory call (free of charge). If you have already had your baby you will share where you're at and where you'd like to be. If you are yet to have your baby then we will discuss what you'd like newborn life to look like.
2. If I'm the right person to support you then we will discuss next steps and, if not, then I can often sign post you to the right person e.g. specialists/medical professionals to provide specific care/support. If we are going to work together we will book in a visit or build a support package. After I have worked with you in-person I am then able to offer virtual support but I do not work with clients virtually until I have worked with them in person. We will work through everything together - building your confidence (and sleep) as we go!
It is never too early to start working with me. Starting from 'day one' means that we can establish rhythms that work for you all from the very beginning, meaning that you're less likely to find yourself in a sleep deprived spiral a few weeks/months down the line. But if you've found yourself in that sort of newborn haze then do get in touch to book in an introductory call.
Support packages that are booked in advance and cover two weeks or longer will have a 20% discount applied.
One off booking prices are as follows:
One hour support call - £125
These calls enable us to talk through your situation in full detail so that we can troubleshoot any issues that are arising and discuss any tweaks that you might want to make.
After an in-person visit you can book one follow up support call for a reduced rate of £75 (call must be booked within 14 days of the visit).
Four hour in-person home visit - £450
Home visits provide in depth support in order to build your confidence and establish rhythms that feel right for you and your family. Focus areas often include achieving effective feeding , appropriate winding, how to approach naps and any number of questions that might arise for you.
Virtual support day - £100
These days are only available to clients who have had my in-person support. You can message, voice note and video share as much as you need between 8am-6pm. Essentially you have me in your pocket all day!
“We call Imogen “Mary Poppins” in our household. She completely transformed our daughter’s daytime routine, which in turn has brought so much more restful sleep to our nights too.
Beyond her incredible knowledge, she has been such a calm, reassuring and positive presence for our whole family during a time that can feel overwhelming. We are genuinely so grateful for her support and could not recommend her more highly.”
“Imogen was there from the very start with my first son and was absolutely pivotal in helping me have a successful early breastfeeding experience. Her support, encouragement and calm guidance made such a difference during those early newborn days.
When I had my second son, I was amazed at how much I had forgotten, from newborn routines, breastfeeding and swaddling, to getting him settled and sleeping at night. Once again, Imogen was there to gently guide me through it all with so much patience and reassurance.
What I appreciated most was that it never felt like Imogen was telling me what to do or pushing a particular agenda or “right” way of parenting. Instead, she helped me reconnect with my own instincts, wisdom and intuition as a mother. Everything was at my own pace, and she came alongside me to support and encourage.
I honestly couldn’t recommend her highly enough. She is an all-round superstar when it comes to babies, but somehow you come away feeling like you’re the one absolutely nailing it!”
“My husband described Imogen’s arrival in our home as being somewhat like the arrival of Mary Poppins. And he’s right.
In some respect it’s quite difficult to put into words what you’re paying for when Imogen comes to work with you, because it goes far beyond practical advice or support with specific aspects of caring for a baby. What she brings is something much deeper: a sense of peace, calm, confidence and steadiness at a time in life that can feel incredibly vulnerable, overwhelming and sleep deprived.
Having Imogen around felt like having someone beside us quietly cheering us on, helping us believe that we could do this, reminding us of strengths we’d lost sight of amongst the chaos and exhaustion of early parenthood. She has an extraordinary ability to help you reconnect with your own instincts and inner confidence as a parent.
Imogen doesn’t position herself as some kind of all-knowing baby expert. Instead, she offers something I think so many mothers are desperately searching for: a safe pair of hands, someone firmly in your corner who is focused not just on the baby, but on you. How you feel, how you’re coping, and what your family needs as a whole.
She has supported me throughout all three of my babies and their arrivals. I don’t know what I would have done without her. I just wish more women could experience the kind of support Imogen provides. It is very special.”
“Following the birth of my second child, my son, I was looking for support to improve sleep all round as I knew my day schedule wasn’t quite right and we needed our nights to settle. I genuinely could not remember what I did previously with my daughter.
With a toddler in tow I needed support and someone to help me see the wood from the trees. Most importantly I needed to regain my confidence after a traumatic birth and Imogen has given me that.
Thanks to Imogen’s brilliant experience, kind and warm personality and instinctive approach to motherhood she has given me everything back I felt I had lost. After a few weeks of implementing our new schedule and making small tweaks, our son is now sleeping through the night at 3.5 months old.
Above all else our time together and our in person sessions I will cherish forever.”
“Our friend said Imogen’s support had been ‘completely life changing’ so we booked her in to start on day five and thank goodness we did... 'life changing' is fully accurate! Indeed Imogen’s support is so integral to us that we’ve used her for six months now (and counting - as I have every intention of continuing to book in support calls/check in visits if new issues arise with our daughter).
At the start our daughter was struggling to feed or nap and on the very first visit on the first feed, Imogen had solved all of our issues. It was honestly magic (and a huge relief given our baby was very little and jaundiced)… for five days we’d had a baby who wouldn’t really feed and wouldn’t really sleep either. We were exhausted! And on that first visit she did two big feeds AND self-settled for a two hour nap happily in her bassinet (with no crying) while Imogen then answered all my questions. My whole mood changed; I suddenly felt relaxed and confident and this meant we could really enjoy our time with our baby.
We had a mix of in-person and virtual support for the first six weeks. Imogen picked up our baby’s needs immediately, meaning that we got a huge amount out of the virtual days even though we only had three in-person visits in total (I would have happily had more but this was all she had available). Since then Imogen has come back to help with a feeding aversion and tricky sleeping habits that were linked to the feeding aversion. She’s now supporting us with weaning which has been another whole hurdle with allergies and illness thrown into the mix. But Imogen’s ability to be totally unphased really helps me to stay calm and confident.
I couldn’t recommend Imogen more highly if you’re looking for someone who will make you feel completely supported and safe during the newborn phase (and beyond!)… and if you want a happy baby who feeds and sleeps well in spite of the many challenges we’re so often faced with!”
“I don’t really know what to say because everything you’ve done for us has meant so much more than I could ever put into words. I simply don’t know where we would be without you.
I was so unsure as to what help we’d need in the early days, naively thinking I’ve got Tom, my mum, what more will I need. Well how wrong I was! The timing was so perfect, you coming two days after we got back from hospital, sorting us out and getting us into the gentlest of routines. Although I sort of hate saying ‘routine’ as it felt like it all fell into place naturally and gently. I guess that just shows how natural you made it feel.
I don’t think I’ve ever been met with such unfailing positivity. You made us feel like we could actually do this at a really vulnerable time. I would so look forward to you arriving knowing that any worries would instantly be put at ease in the kindest way. Not to mention the fact that you got her sleeping from 7-7 at just nine weeks!!
I really think you’re the Mary Poppins of the baby world and I’ve lost count of the times I said to Tom that I wished you could just come and move in with us! You are completely incredible and I feel so fortunate to have been on the receiving end of such amazing care. Thank you will never be enough but thank you, thank you, thank you.”
“I met Imogen (very luckily) when my son was around 2 months old when I was really lacking in confidence and struggling to understand his daily routine and needs. Imogen swept in and completely transformed how I managed my days with my son. She walked me through the early challenges of sleep and feeding with patience, reassurance, and real expertise — giving me the confidence I needed during what can be an overwhelming time. My family instantly saw a change in me and my confidence!
Over five months, she continued to be by my side, guiding us through the weaning process and equipping me with the tools and knowledge to make it a success. Thanks to her support, Jasper is now a wonderful little eater, and I couldn’t be more grateful.
I would wholeheartedly recommend her to any new parent. She is so caring and thoughtful and just a magician when it comes to understanding babies and she is also just such a joy to have around!”
“Before working with Imogen I was struggling to get into a rhythm with my newborn. We started working together when my daughter was 6 weeks old and the experience was transformative. She instantly solved the biggest issue I had with feeding which was doziness during feeds, and guided me towards implementing structure to the day that gave me some control over my baby’s schedule while still responding to her needs.
My daughter responded very quickly and positively, with noticeable improvements in nighttime sleep.
Perhaps most importantly, Imogen gave me permission to trust my instincts and feel confident as a first time mother. Working with her felt like being advised by a cool calm experienced friend who you trust rather than a didactic consultant.”
“Imogen was such a calming presence each time she visited us and our newborn daughter Maya. At the start of these visits I was often fretting about Maya’s feeding or sleeping; Imogen would never take over, instead she would gently guide and reassure me from the sidelines, and by the time she left I would always be feeling empowered and confident (and well rested and well fed, Imogen wouldn’t let me lift a finger!).
The follow up support over WhatsApp was invaluable, there was no question too big or too small and Imogen would always reply with thought and care in a way that meant that through both the laughter and the tears I never felt alone in those first few months.
We both truly believe that without Imogen’s presence and profound impact in those first few months, our experience as a new family would not have been nearly as bright.”
“Imogen could not have got life with my newborn off to a better start. Following a difficult birth and a big loss of confidence, she was truly my guardian angel in absolutely every way. She is an excellent listener, genuinely empathetic, a fabulous cook, has a brilliant sense of humour and was the most perfect calming presence in what was quite a tumultuous time!
She really had a sixth sense as to what me (and my baby!) needed in those early weeks and over time, she filled me with confidence and helped me feel much more like myself again. With her guidance and gentle tips, she also helped me put in place a gentle and flexible routine which over time, helped my son to sleep through the night.
Every new Mum needs an Imogen in their life!”
